İHSAN KABIL
İhsan Kabil is a Turkish film director, critic, and festival director. As an adviser to the Korkut Ata Turkish World Film Festival, he plays a key role in promoting cinema from across the Turkic world. Guided by the motto “Unity in Language, Idea, Work”, the festival has grown into a major platform showcasing films, panels, and cultural exchanges that strengthen cooperation and highlight shared heritage.
SATISH ANAND
Satish Anand is the Chairman of Eveready Pictures, one of Pakistan’s oldest and most influential film and television companies. With over four decades of experience, he has overseen the production and distribution of hundreds of films and dramas, playing a pivotal role in shaping South Asian cinema. Respected for his integrity and cultural vision, Anand continues to champion stories that celebrate humanity, heritage, and cross-cultural dialogue.
ZULKIFI M. OSMAN
Dato’ Zulkifli M. Osman is a Malaysian filmmaker and actor, the son of veteran singer Allahyarham M. Osman and actress Afidah Es. He began acting in 1976 with Sayang Anakku Sayang and later directed his first feature Mira Edora(1990). Known for hit films such as Suci Dalam Debu (1992), Kekasih Awal dan Akhir (1993), and Diari Romeo (2003), he has also won Anugerah Skrin awards for Jutawan Segera and Badrul Oh Rahul. In 2016, he returned with Misi Operasi X. Honored with the titles DPMP and DIMP, Zulkifli remains a respected figure in Malaysian cinema.
DIANA ASHIMOVA
Diana Ashimova is a highly respected festival programmer, artistic director, and film producer from Kazakhstan. With over 15 years of experience across the global film industry, she has curated, produced, and promoted award-winning Central Asian films at leading festivals, including Toronto, Busan, Cairo, Tallinn Black Nights, and Shanghai. She currently serves as the Artistic Director of Bastau International Film Festival and Executive Director of Cinema Heritage IFF (UNESCO, Paris). She is also the founder of DA Group (Paris) and A Team Production, and co-founder of Central Asia Film Group. Diana has represented Kazakhstan’s cinema at the Cannes Film Market, EFM (Berlinale), and Hong Kong Filmart, positioning her as a key figure in the international promotion of Central Asian cinema. Her production work includes notable titles such as ZHAT (Stranger), AUA, SHYRAKSHY, and OT (FIRE), which received accolades at major festivals worldwide. As a NETPAC jury member and chair, she has served on juries at Rotterdam, Warsaw, TIFF, Fajr, Bosphorus, Vesoul, and others. Diana continues to champion emerging voices from Central Asia, blending cultural diplomacy with cinematic excellence.
ZAKIR HOSSAIN RAJU
Zakir Hossain Raju, born in 1970, began demonstrating his talent at an early age when he wrote and staged a children's play at the age of twelve. He pursued a degree in mass communication and journalism at Dhaka University starting in 1987. Raju authored articles covering various topics such as media, society, environment, and human rights for local publications. In 1990, he published "Chalachitrer Chalchitra," a collection exploring the history and aesthetics of Bangladeshi cinema. In the same year, he co-founded Pratishabda Alternative Communication Centre with the goal of establishing a nationwide alternative audiovisual communication network. Raju is also involved in teaching film and documentary workshops.
PIJUSH SAHA
Pijush Saha is an Indian film producer, director, and story writer from Kolkata, and the founder of Prince Entertainment P4. Known as the Star Maker of Tollywood, he has launched several leading actors including Soham Chakraborty, Subhasree Ganguly, Ankush Hazra, Rubel Das, and Prince. His notable films include Satrur Mukabela, Kartabya, Bajimat, Neel Akasher Chandni, Kellafate, Beparoyaa, Tui Amar Rani, Hari Ghosher Gowal, and Jaalbandi. With multiple projects lined up, Saha remains one of India’s top independent film producers.
JANAK DEEP PARAJULI
Janak Deep Parajuli (b. 1975) is a leading Nepali filmmaker, lyricist, and media professional. He is the Chairman of the Film Directors Guild of Nepal and founder of Janakdeep Production, with acclaimed works in films, documentaries, and music videos. Internationally active through London Cine Eye Production (UK), he is also dedicated to social welfare and cultural development in Nepal.
GULBARA TOLOMUSHOVA
Gulbara Tolomushova is a film scholar and film critic. A graduate of the Faculty of Screenwriting and Film Studies at VGIK (Moscow), she is an Honored Worker of Culture of the Kyrgyz Republic and a member of the Union of Cinematographers of Kyrgyzstan, of FIPRESCI, and of NETPAC. She serves as the Program Director of the Young Cinema Forum “Umut” and is the Editor-in-Chief of the Cinema Development Fund’s website kyrgyzcinema.com. She also contributes to Kinokultura.com. Specialist of the Cinema House named after Chingiz Aitmatov in Bishkek (Kyrgyzstan). She has published a number of scholarly works both in Kyrgyzstan and abroad. In 2024, she was named an Officer of the French Order of Arts and Letters.
DR. QIAO LI
Dr. Qiao Li is a UK-based film scholar, educator, and filmmaker whose work bridges cinema, academia, and international collaboration. Currently serving as a Lecturer in Film at Edinburgh Napier University and affiliated with Screen Academy Scotland, he specializes in Asian cinema, with a particular focus on Chinese-language film, global industry transformation, and post-pandemic film culture. He has held academic and research positions at institutions across Europe and Asia, including Taylor’s University Malaysia, the University of Wollongong Malaysia, and Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne as a visiting professor. His cross-continental expertise makes him a sought-after voice in cultural policy and cinematic discourse. Dr. Qiao Li is the editor of key UNESCO Cities of Film Network publications such as Development of Global Film Industry and The Global Film Market Transformation in the Post-Pandemic Era (Routledge), and has spoken at major forums including the UNESCO Global Forum on Media and Culture and Cannes Global Film Forum. Beyond academia, Dr. Li is also an active documentary filmmaker and festival curator. His works-including In Pursuit of Truth: Once Upon a Time in China (Cannes AVIFF), Save Malayan Tiger, and In A Different Key-reflect a strong commitment to storytelling with social and cultural impact. At KLIFA 2025, Dr. Qiao Li contributes his critical insight, intercultural lens, and scholarly depth to the international jury, ensuring a thoughtful and inclusive celebration of cinematic excellence.
