FearISH

Soheila Madadi is an emerging Iranian filmmaker with a strong passion for storytelling and creative expression through animation. She earned her degree in Animation from the University of Tehran, where she developed a distinctive visual style focused on emotional symbolism and psychological themes.

Her student animated short film FearISH explores fear through the metaphor of a fish trapped in a tank, reflecting how perceived dangers and internal anxieties can limit our lives. Through her work, Soheila seeks to encourage audiences to confront their fears and discover resilience in the face of the unknown.

She continues to develop animation projects that combine simplicity, metaphor, and emotional depth, aiming to connect universal human experiences with visually poetic storytelling.
