Impurrfection

Chiang Yao is a Taiwanese animation director and filmmaker, and a graduate of the School of Visual Arts (SVA), New York. His work explores deeply personal emotions and inner struggles through animation and cinematic language. Chiang Yao’s animated short films have been selected and awarded at numerous international film festivals.

In addition to his independent films, he has directed cinematics and character animations for video games, commercials, product films, and virtual productions. His multidisciplinary approach combines emotional storytelling with high-level technical craftsmanship, establishing him as a distinctive voice in contemporary animated cinema.
