Dihat Kaya is a director and writer whose work focuses on suppressed histories, collective trauma, and post-conflict societies. Through collaborative filmmaking, he seeks to amplify marginalized voices and transform lived experiences into cinematic testimony. Surreal Suriye marks a significant collaboration between the two directors, merging realism and surrealism to document a pivotal moment in Syrian history.
