Timon Leder is a Slovenian animation director educated at La Poudrière, the prestigious animation direction school in France. During his studies, he created nine animated short films—two of them professional—and developed a strong foundation in storytelling, visual rhythm, and character-driven animation.
His student short film Work (co-directed with Urban Breznik) screened at over 30 international film festivals worldwide. His debut professional 2D animated short Weasel continues to tour globally. Beyond filmmaking, Timon authored a degree thesis on children’s comprehension of film language and contributed to the creation of the first animation manual for schools and kindergartens, highlighting his dedication to animation education and visual literacy.
